Question 1

Do I need any experience?

Accepted Answer

Nope. Zero. Nil. None required. Everything we run is designed to be accessible regardless of experience. No prerequisites, no skill levels, no auditions. You arrive exactly as you are — and that's already enough.

Question 2

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Wear whatever feels comfortable. For movement sessions, something you can actually move in. Nothing fancy, nothing prescribed. We've had people dance in jeans. It's fine. You're fine.

Question 3

Can I just turn up?

Accepted Answer

We do ask you to book in advance — it helps us make sure there's space for everyone. Registration takes a few minutes and then booking is a doddle. Worth it, we promise.

Question 4

What if I need to cancel?

Accepted Answer

Life happens — honestly, we get it. You can cancel through your account. We just ask for as much notice as you can manage so someone on the waiting list can grab your spot.

Question 5

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Cash on arrival, bank transfer (BACS), or PayPal — you choose when you book. Some sessions may not have all options, so check the session page. Nice and simple. No surprise fees.

Question 6

What if I can't afford the full price?

Accepted Answer

We genuinely never want money to be the reason someone doesn't come. Drop us a message and we'll sort something out. No awkward forms, no means testing. Just a conversation.

Question 7

Are there refunds?

Accepted Answer

If you cancel with reasonable notice, we can refund or transfer your booking. Talk to us — we're flexible, human, and not the kind of people who hide behind terms and conditions.

Question 8

What happens in a session?

Accepted Answer

Each programme is a bit different, but all sessions are held gently. There's no pressure to perform, get it right, or keep up with anyone else. You're invited to participate at whatever level feels right for you — even if that's just swaying from side to side.

Question 9

Can I come to just one session?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Come once, come every week, come sporadically when you feel like it. There's no contract, no commitment, no disappointed face if you disappear for a month. Life happens.

Question 10

What if I feel uncomfortable during a session?

Accepted Answer

Step out, sit out, or leave early — no questions, no explanations needed. Your wellbeing always, always comes first. The door is never locked.

Question 11

Will I be filmed or photographed?

Accepted Answer

Only ever with your consent. We ask during registration and you can change your mind at any point, for any reason, without any fuss. Your privacy matters to us.

Question 12

Are your spaces accessible?

Accepted Answer

We share full accessibility information for each venue — including wheelchair access, stairs, parking, and entry instructions. If you have specific needs, please let us know and we'll do everything we can to support you.

Question 13

I have anxiety about joining group spaces

Accepted Answer

That makes complete sense — and you're not alone in that at all. Our sessions are designed to feel safe and non-judgmental. You can arrive a bit late, sit near the door, participate quietly, or just be present without doing much at all. We hold space for all kinds of nervous systems. Yours is welcome here.

Question 14

What if I have a disability or injury?

Accepted Answer

Please tell us during registration (or anytime after). We can adapt, adjust, and make space. If something doesn't feel accessible, let us know so we can do better.

Question 15

Is this like group therapy?

Accepted Answer

Nope. We're not therapists and we're definitely not doing therapy. It's creative practice as a form of self-care and genuine human connection. That said, plenty of people tell us it's the most supportive hour of their week. We'll take it.

Question 16

Will I have to share or perform?

Accepted Answer

Never, unless you actively want to. Sharing is always 100% optional. Some sessions have moments of group reflection, but you can listen, nod, gaze thoughtfully into the middle distance, or just pass. Nobody will push you.

Question 17

What if I don't like group things?

Accepted Answer

Completely valid. Some of our sessions are quieter and more individually focused. Try what feels interesting and see how it lands. You can always not come back — no hard feelings, no passive-aggressive emails. Promise.
