Work with Here / Now / Today
Bring us a useful problem.
We work across community, wellbeing, research, media and technology. You do not need to know which box your idea belongs in before getting in touch. Tell us what you are trying to change, who it is for and what is getting in the way.
Ways to collaborate
Several doors in. One conversation.
The projects under Here / Now are deliberately different. That gives us more ways to tackle a problem and more places for a good idea to go next.
Fund or support public-benefit work
Help us test, extend or subsidise work that improves access to movement, community information, local connection or useful public resources.
Host or commission a programme
Bring movement, wellbeing or community activity into a workplace, venue, school, community setting or local partnership.
Research and evaluation partnerships
Work with us on a clearly defined question, pilot or evaluation. We care about ethical data collection, transparent methods and findings that remain useful even when they are inconvenient.
Build something digital
Commission DigitalDev to create or improve a website, app, workflow, admin system or automation that solves a real operational problem.
Media and community collaboration
Work with The Tees or CommuniTees on useful local information, community discovery, stories, campaigns or routes into participation.
Bring us a problem, not a brief
Some of the most interesting work starts before the solution is obvious. If the challenge sits between community, wellbeing, data, media and technology, that is very much our territory.
A good fit
We are most useful when the work has a human consequence.
Clear public value
There is a real person, community or organisation who should be better off if the work succeeds.
Curiosity over certainty
We can test assumptions, listen to the evidence and change direction when reality disagrees with the original idea.
Accessibility built in
Access is considered during design, not bolted on at the end as a compliance paragraph.
Useful after launch
We care about whether something keeps working, can be understood and is maintainable once the exciting build bit is over.
